What is the Missouri Health Insurance Pool?

Federal Pool Transition
Effective July 1, members enrolled in Missouri's Federal Pool will join other Pre-existing Condition Insurance Plan (PCIP) programs across the U.S. that are operated by the federal government and administered by the National Finance Center.
Current members of MHIP's Federal Pool will not be required to complete a new application for coverage in the Federal PCIP. You will receive information and enrollment instructions from the National Finance Center regarding program changes. You must respond to the instructions in the communication that you will receive by June 10. It is important that members act quickly to ensure their coverage is uninterrupted during this transition.
