The Missouri Health Insurance Pool (MHIP) program is offered by the State of Missouri and is administered by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City. The MHIP program is designed for residents who, because of high-risk status:

• are unable to obtain health care coverage
• have been involuntarily terminated from their health care coverage or
• are being charged more than 300 percent of standard premiums for health care coverage.

The Missouri Health Insurance Pool is proud to manage the Missouri Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan (PCIP) for Missouri residents that have a pre-existing condition and have been uninsured for more than six months.  If you believe you may be eligible for this new program, click here for more details.
